"Earth, Going To The Dogs?"

Many celebrities, politicians and the media pounce on the pitiful slaying of dogs in the dog fighting ring scandal with long dissertations
about how terribly cruel it is; but have "No Comment" on the millions slaughtered in human abortions; except maybe to support it:
definitely going to the dogs. 

Helmsley's 12 million dollar dog named "Trouble".. leads the pack 

in this trendy 'doggy devotion',

while her grandkids may just have to survive on dog food: obviously going to the dogs.
 

'Man's best friend' it seems, is deemed kinder and gentler than humans in their behavior and unabashed devotion,

except for the occasional maul; and the occasional indiscretion; 

a protector, and certainly better thought of than terrorists, pedophiles and other predators; abortionists and battering spouses, etc.: going, going, gone to the dogs.

All in all, dogs are on the rise for you investors out there; too bad they can't speak and tell us what they're really thinking;

but then they'd be too much like humans. Maybe that's why we find them so endearing, a quiet respite from all the confusion;

and a quiet,but clear message, 

   that animals, ....  .........

.like some people,..    are lovable, too.
